Wedding Dinner.....
06.25.05 (12:41 am)   [edit]

Last night i attended one of my best friend's(papa bee's) wedding ...we, the bee's family are all excited and felt happy for her at the same time...it never occured to me that papa bee is the first to get married as shs's the most playful one among us.... Congratulations to you (papa bee) and your husband on your big day!!!

Anyway, it's nice to get together with all my PSDC mates after a few months of absence...we chatted and updated each other on our recent news...we all also fell happy for her seeing her in her beautiful wedding gown, holding the love of her life walking down the aisle....I like the style of her wedding a lot...she chooses the western style of having buffet dinner....the atmosphere is warm and pretty at home....the best part of it is we don't have to wait until 8.30pm to start dinner...

after that, we, the bee's family wanted to go to SOHO, but papa bee's tired after a long day already, so we ask her to rest and postphoned it to next week....since the night is still young, the rest of the bee's decided to find a place to catch up on old times..but fate has it that the places we chose is either too packed up or it is closed at 12am....so, we have no choice but to go home early and rest....

sensing that the rest of the bee's are going to depart soon, i sincerely hope that we have  a lasting friendship and will keep in touch in the future no matter what.....

The Story Begins...

can't wait to blog this out....

Just finished watching Batman Begins....the first 20 minutes of the show is BORING...ok...but later on the film starts to catch up its pace...and it is a MUST SEE movie...DEFINITELY 100 times better than Star Wars 3...

ok...they did some replay of the original batman1's story of the parents being shot in the alley..and got some scene which was around 60% similar to The Last Samurai....but then they have a lot of quotes in the movie which i think is meaningful....I'm recommending this film 100%

1st reason....Got lots of leng chais and leng luis in the movie especially Christian  Bale(looks very much like Christopher Reeves)  and katie Holmes

2nd reason... the 'car' and gadgets is way too kul....

3rd reason... the car racing part and kungfu fighting part is extremely exciting.....

ok...the rest you guyz go find out yourselves.... need to go cinema to wacth for this kind of action movie ok? Or at least buy a clear version of DVD to watch..

eat..eat...eat....
06.13.05 (3:59 am)   [edit]

Last week, i really eat my heart out....

First, on thursday night we went to SS2 famous mamak stall (cannot disclose name)  to have mamak. and guess what? We are in great luck. The 'si tao po' ask us to pay RM22 for our supper for 5 that costs RM42. hurray!!! we untung RM20.

So, we cepat-cepat bayar and cabut....haha....

Then on friday, we finally get to eat the long awaited ikan panggang in 'chi cheong kai'. i really ate all the chilies in the fish....which serves me right when i have diarrhea on sat....

i gained 2 pounds over the weekend.. :(

My buddhsit practise
06.07.05 (11:22 pm)   [edit]

From young, I already have health problems (asthma). So, my mom and aunties always ask me to follow them to chant Nam-Myo-ho-Renge-Kyo to ease me from coughing all night. So, I folowed their advice and has been practising from then until now.

SGM or Soka Gakkai Malaysia is founded in 1984. It is an international buddhist association. We have members in 186 countries around the world. Our present president is Mr Daisaku Ikeda who is responsible of spreading the religion to the whole world and holding peace dialogue to world leaders such as Tun Mahathir, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela etc.

Anyway, more about Soka Gakkai...We believe that there is a buddhahood within each and every one of us..that's why you need to respect others...and we also believe that you can eliminate your karma(bad doings in the past) withi n this lifetime and change your life for the better...we believe that buddhism equals daily life, which means you cannot run away from your problems cause your problems will follow you no matter where you go...and buddhsim doesn't mean practising in some isolated place on top of the hills all by yourself...

We have supported many government sponsored activites such as SUKMA in the year of 2000, SUKOM(1998)- the human graphic backdrop of 5000 participants all are our members performing volunterily. Last year, the cultural charity gala in PISA is also done by our members. In Penang, we have 2 kaikan(main practise place)..one is in Edgecumbe Lane, another one is in Tambun (where we usually go and eat seafood b4 or after meetings)

We members practise by chanting once in the morning and evening the phrase Nam-Myo-Ho-Renge-Kyo and a small booklet. You can pray and chant for anything you like.Personally, i feel that after chanting and practising, I can view things in a different perspective and be more optimistic. I feel happier after chanting. I have more energy and wisdom to solve and face my everyday problems and my health condition has also improved.

you can just drop me a mail if you have any further questions. What I have blogged here is just a small fraction of the wonderfull practise.

Eggs & Ham Breakfast

" The Difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an

eggs-and-ham breakfast:

the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'commited' "

Deep Thought
06.02.05 (9:14 pm)   [edit]

As today is Friday, most my my usual gang of friends 'tuang' the afternoon lectures and went back to hometown already.... leaving me here with 2 hours of freetime before the next lecture...

I was suddenly lost... Dunno where to head to..or what to do in this 2 hours of extra time... So, here I am...

I think I'm too dependant on my herd of friends lately... always following where they go, what they do and eat...it feels comfortable and safe to travel in 'herds'... it suddenly made me realize that, i need to be more independant...

when i first came to study, i was also alone, without friends...how different i feel back then... i feel i get the chance to meet new friends and start a new life... but today...i was that negative...emo-bapuk you may call me....

i think it's time to look around and  mix some other herds of friends and minggle around... just in case this scenario happens again...sometimes, it's nice to be alone for a while...you get to do the stuffs you want and 'meditate in deep thoughts' ...

well, enough for today's crappy stuff....
